The New York Mets 6 game winning streak gets snapped from a 10-0 defeat against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Prior to the start of the series the Dodgers had James Paxton set to pitch for today’s game, but since losing the first two to the Mets they decided to move Tyler Glasnow up and he did not disappoint. Glasnow pitched 8 innings striking out 10 to improve his record to 4-1 and avoid the sweep from the Mets.
Adrian Houser did not look like himself, as he was getting hit hard today. His pitches seemed very flat and was unable to get the Dodgers to hit ground balls. Houser only managed to pitch 4 innings giving up 8 earned runs and 4 walks which has been his downfall in games he has not looked good. Through his first four starts Houser’s ERA sits at a 7.45 with a 0-2 record.
